Learning about vitamins, healthy foods, and quick, easy snacks. Discovering the nutritional power of insects — packed with amino acids and protein!

Exercise

Fun physical and mental exercises that require no gym and no expensive equipment.

Gardening

Growing vegetables, herbs, fruit trees, mushrooms, and butterfly gardens — in containers or in your backyard.

Safety

Kitchen safety, grocery shopping tips, garden tool safety, and pet-care safety.

Cooking

Pickling, preserving, baking, making ice cream, jams, cheese, butter, yogurt — and cooking with cricket flour!

Pet Care

Homemade pet food, treats, nutrition, preparing for new pets, and caring for their environments.

Farm Life

Caring for farm animals, including the basics of beekeeping.

Self-Care

Homemade soaps, shampoos, moisturizers, candles, and simple organizational tools to reduce stress.

Building Character

Boone, our Moral Compass, helps children understand not only what good character looks like, but how it grows from the inside out.

Through gentle guidance, he teaches children to notice their thoughts and feelings, recognize when they’ve slipped into upside-down choices, and practice flipping back toward what is true, good, and beautiful.

With Boone’s steady presence, children learn timeless virtues such as honesty, kindness, responsibility, respect, forgiveness, and love for family, community, and country.

He reminds them that real strength comes from aligning their actions with their inner goodness — honoring God, themselves, and others — and discovering the joy that comes from living with clarity, courage, and a bright, steady porchlight.
